Our mission is to support nonprofits in bringing together the right leadership, talent, culture, and structure – so people and organizations can thrive together.

What’s the Job?

DRG Talent continues to build on a period of exciting growth and expansion. We are looking for people to join the team who are nimble, embody a can-do attitude, and are willing to operate in a fast-paced growth environment. We are seeking Associate Talent Consultants to support the full cycle of Executive Search services who also have an interest in and may spend some time supporting organizational consulting client engagements.

What will I do every day?

Executive Search Engagements

Our Associate Talent Consultants play an integral role in advancing simultaneous search engagements to reach successful completion. Together with your project team, you will support a portfolio of searches. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and screen candidates but you may also be asked to research and identify potential candidates for a position, interview candidates to assess their qualifications for the position, create and present client deliverables, or strategize with the project team on the overall search approach, strategy, and next steps. In this role, it will be important to build relationships with clients, candidates, and other stakeholders who you encounter throughout a search. Our Associate Talent Consultants work closely with all members of a team to develop search strategies, generate client deliverables, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and practice.

Business Development

We encourage our Associate Talent Consultants to develop business relationships by spending structured and directed time meeting and engaging with leaders in the nonprofit community and maintaining those relationships with effective communication and follow up. Associate Talent Consultants will also play a key role in our continuous mapping of talent needs in the nonprofit sector. We know everyone brings their own special flair to this—we will help you build your skills, focus your strategy, and develop your voice!

Teamwork

At DRG you will find team members across all levels pitching in to get the job done. While much of your time as an Associate Talent Consultant will be focused on Executive Search, you may be brought in to support our organizational consulting client engagements as well as other company-wide projects, learning, professional development, and other experiences designed to strengthen our company. We provide our team members with opportunities to develop themselves, their work, and their investment in our collective mission.

Who are we looking for?

The Associate Talent Consultant position is a pathway to becoming a Talent Consultant and leading your own client engagements. We are looking for team players who have an interest in advancing along a client-facing trajectory and gaining experience in and exposure to the full lifecycle of talent work. Associate Talent Consultants should embody a can-do attitude and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Our Associate Talent Consultants need to manage multiple engagements and projects simultaneously. They should be deeply interested in and knowledgeable about the functioning and dynamics of nonprofit organizations and equally passionate about the work of the nonprofit sector. Associate Talent Consultants can develop client deliverables with acuity and have impeccable follow-up and follow-through. Our Associate Talent Consultants must have a superior work ethic, deep curiosity, and a strong sense of accountability.
