Meet Omar Lopez, one of our talent consulting experts.
What is your role within DRG?
I serve as a Senior Talent Consultant. My role is to serve as the primary contact and project manager for searches and consulting engagements. I keep the trains moving on time so we can find the next great leader for your organization.
What would you want organizations to know about DRG?
Our search process is informed by love 36 years of experience in the work and an embracing of organizational consulting philosophies. When you partner with us, you’re getting more than just a search firm. You’re getting a group of experts, that understand what it takes to start, build, turn around, and grow a mission-based organization.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Approach the work with the beginners mind. Despite having a level of expertise, every engagement is different. Approach it with the openness, that someone who is doing this for the first time would have.
What brings you joy in your free time?
I am a family man through and through. When I’m not supporting organizations find their next leader, I’m spending time with my two and four-year-old daughters.
Which book/movie/tv show/podcast etc. is at the top of your list right now?
I’m almost done reading “It” by Stephen King. I’ve been working through all the books he’s ever written. He’s the best for a reason.
