Sterling (he/him) is a Talent Consultant at DRG. He supports clients’ executive searches by encouraging them to look beyond conventional experience to find dynamic new talent.
Sterling has extensive experience working in leadership roles for nonprofit organizations focusing on out-of-school time education. As High School Program Manager at Open Doors Academy, Sterling led the strategic direction and implementation of an afterschool program for over 100 students. Leading a team of youth development professionals showed him people are the most important asset in successfully pursuing mission-driven work.
Sterling also earned a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Organizational Behavior from Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Kenyon College. A passionate Minnesota United soccer fan, he loudly supports his beloved Loons from Minneapolis, Minnesota.
