Sherry (she/her) is a Principal at DRG. After graduating law school, Sherry spent years in Washington working for progressive non-profits, including People for the American Way and Public Citizen, and in the United States Senate as Counsel to the late Senator Paul Wellstone (D-MN).
After leaving Capitol Hill, Sherry was Counsel at M+R Strategic Services, a political consulting firm, where she put her experience and skills as an advocate to use for her clients. In 2005, she pivoted her career to begin helping nonprofit organizations find talented new staff. She established her own firm and built a robust executive search practice working for a wide variety of progressive and social justice organizations across the US. In 2022, she joined DRG Talent to work with a talented team of organizational consultants, researchers, and executive search experts.
Sherry is originally from the suburbs of Chicago, but has lived in Washington D.C. for many years.
