Kennedy Turner

Kennedy (she/her) is a Talent Consultant at DRG. She enjoys helping clients and candidates identify and communicate their stories. Kennedy focuses on helping clients develop consensus and common ground, thinking outside the box while identifying talent needs. Bringing her experience working in non-profit program management, Kennedy is mission-driven and staff-focused, helping clients to ensure that their mission stays at the forefront of their search.

As a cultural sociologist, Kennedy is especially attuned to how social identities are shaped by and shape organizational culture. She is excited to help clients live their values around diversity, equity, and inclusion. Kennedy has extensive experience in teaching and facilitation both in and outside of academia. She has also used her research skills to help organizations develop DEI strategic plans and assess an organization’s ability to meet targeted equity metrics.

Kennedy earned her Ph.D. in Public Policy and Sociology from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Howard University. She currently lives in Louisiana where she enjoys doing calligraphy, cooking, and competition reality television.
