We are pleased to announce that Wendy Chang has been appointed as Director of College Counseling of The Bishop’s School. Wendy comes to Bishop’s with an extensive career in college counseling and guidance, having held roles such as a Senior Admissions Officer at Harvard University, Director of College Guidance at the Collegiate School (NY), Director of U.S. College Counseling at The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls, Director of College Counseling at St. John’s School (TX), and freelance college advisor. She currently serves as Director of College Counseling at Avenues: The World School (NY).
“We have a great group of college counselors, and our goal is to ensure that the college process for our students and their families is the best that one can find anywhere. Wendy brings that kind of leadership experience and insight from her years as a director of college counseling and also from the college side as an admissions officer. I know that our community will appreciate her warmth and deep care for students,” noted Ron Kim, Head of School (1).
