We are pleased to announce that Vered Cohen has been appointed as the Executive Director of Congregation Beth Sholom (CBS). Vered brings over a decade of experience working in the Jewish Community and Education in the Bay Area. Most recently she served as Administrator at the Congregation Netivot Shalom.

Soon to enter its 100th year as a synagogue,CBS creates opportunities for contemporary Jews, along with their loved ones and friends, to share authentic and meaningful religious and spiritual experiences. It was among the first Conservative synagogues to provide women equal participation in all aspects of religious life and to recognize its LGBTQI+ members. CBS was also the first synagogue to house a Jewish meditation center. In addition, they also offer robust educational programs including a thriving preschool, active religious school, and a variety of adult learning opportunities.
