Congratulating our recent placement Royce Brooks, who has been appointed as the Executive Director of Annie’s List, the Austin-based PAC dedicated to electing progressive women to public office and changing the face of power in Texas. Brooks has honed her leadership in a career encompassing both policy and electoral politics. Before joining Annie’s List, she served as Atlanta’s first-ever Chief Equity Officer, where she worked with city leaders, researchers and community members to develop a policy agenda to address inequality.
Since its launch in 2003, Annie’s List has trained thousands of women to run for public office and has raised and invested $15+ million. Brooks will work with Annie’s List’s Board of Directors, key stakeholders, and staff to build the organization’s programs and deepen its impact
