About The Browning School: Founded by scholar and teacher John A. Browning, The Browning School has been a leader in fostering the intellectual and personal growth of boys and young men since 1888. Serving 403 students in kindergarten through Grade 12, Browning is a learning community where faculty members reach out to meet their students’ needs and respond to each boy’s passions and talents. It fosters a climate in which boys are known, loved, and challenged – where they are seen and heard, given both freedom and boundaries, and consistently encouraged to find lasting meaning in their education.
