We are pleased to announce that Miriam Singer has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of the Jewish Community Services of South Florida (JCS). As the new leader of the organization, she will work with the board to build upon the Agency’s assets and success and lead the agency in planning new ways to meet the changing needs of the community. She will be responsible for developing new social enterprises & programs, growing revenue, stewardship of donor relationships, building an executive team at the agency and being the public face of the JCS.
Jewish Community Services of South Florida (JCS) is a well-established nonprofit 501(c)(3) social service agency headquartered in North Miami. The mission of JCS is “to provide exemplary social services in South Florida on behalf of the Jewish community to promote the quality of life and maximum achievement of potential within the Jewish community and the community as a whole.” The JCS was formed less than 20 years ago as a merger of three social service organizations, the Community Council for Jewish Elderly, Jewish Family Service of Greater Miami and Jewish Vocational Services of South Florida. Today, the JCS provides 45 programs in a network of 24 locations throughout Miami-Dade County.
