Matthew Kernkraut – appointed Chief Development Officer of the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County

Happy to announce that Matthew Kernkraut has been appointed Chief Development Officer of the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County. He will be part of the leadership team and will work with the CEO and the Board to develop and implement an integrated resource development strategy to support the Federation’s mission and community priorities. His responsibilities include leading all major aspects of Federation’s fundraising activities, lead a development team of 35, including major gifts, PG&E, and capital and annual campaigns.

The Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County serves residents from Boynton Beach to the Treasure Coast and west to Wellington as the central community-building organization of the greater Palm Beaches. Jewish life in the Palm Beach County is diverse and multi-faceted, and includes 15 partner agencies and programs, as well as other key community programs supported by Federation, 21 synagogues and a K through 8th grade community day school.This past year, the Federation raised in excess of $27 million in total resources, including an unrestricted annual campaign of $16.5 million.Together with their partner agencies, community synagogues and generous community members, Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County focuses on causes that reflect Jewish values.
