Marek Beck appointed Associate Head of School of Elisabeth Morrow School

We are pleased to announce that Marek Beck has been appointed Associate Head of School of the Elisabeth Morrow School in Englewood, New Jersey. Marek’s career has included teaching and leadership positions in both public and independent schools. Most recently he served as the Founding Head of Middle School at Whittle School & Studios in Washington, D.C. Prior to that he was the Head of Upper School at Renbrook School in West Hartford, CT.

From 2002-2014, he served in an array of teaching and administrative roles at Greenwich Country Day School, including Director of Professional Development and Chairperson of the Middle School English Department. Early in his career he taught nursery through grade 5 at Parkway Elementary School in Greenwich, CT. Marek taught as an Adjunct Professor at Fordham University for over a decade, served as a facilitator at Harvard University’s Principal Center, and continues to be a frequent conference speaker and consultant to teachers and schools both nationally and internationally.

Elisabeth Morrow School (EMS) is an Independent, Coeducational Day School for Ages 2 to Grade 8.
