Marc Hopin – appointed CEO of Alpert Jewish Family Service

We’re pleased to announce that Marc Hopin has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Fred & Gladys Alpert Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Palm Beach County (Alpert JFS). Current Interim CEO Hopin, will now assume the role on a permanent basis and will work with the board to continue to advance Alpert JFS’s mission. He is responsible for managing and developing the agency’s team and will represent Alpert JFS both within the organization at Board and relevant committees, throughout the Jewish community including the Jewish Federation, and the community-at-large, enabling it to maintain and grow its presence among clients, partners, and donors.

Mr. Hopin has been with Alpert JFS for over 5 years as the CFO, before assuming the role of Interim CEO last year. He comes from a long career in top financial roles, serving as CFO of Penn-Florida Companies for half a decade, and VP of Finance at Gimelstob Realty for nearly two decades before joining the agency.

Alpert JFS is a nationally-accredited, non-sectarian agency serving the Greater Palm Beaches community since 1974. Alpert JFS does this through a continuum of focused programs addressing the well-being of children and families of all ages, the independence and well being of older adults, and the optimal quality of life for individuals with special needs.
