Malka Lowenstein appointed Director of the 92nd Street Y Nursery School

We are pleased to announce that Malka Lowenstein has been appointed as the Director of the 92nd Street Y Nursery School.  Malka has over 20 years of experience Early Childhood Education. Before joining the 92Y in 2018 as the Director of the Education program, Malka was the Assistant Director of the Early Childhood Center of the Park Avenue Synagogue. Most recently, Malka served as the Interim Director of the 92nd Street Y Nursery School.

About the Nursery School: Since 1938, the Nursery School has provided a warm and creative atmosphere that fosters young children’s imagination, curiosity, and intellect. The celebration of Shabbat and Jewish holidays teaches children the joy of Jewish culture and heritage. Serving up to 169 children, ages 2.5 to 5, the 92Y Nursery School is committed to forging a strong sense of connection among teachers and families while preparing children well for the next step in their educational journeys.
