Kelly Grimmett – appointed Early Childhood Principal of The University of Chicago Laboratory Schools

We are pleased to announce that Kelly Grimmett has been appointed Early Childhood Principal of The University of Chicago Laboratory Schools. Kelly has close to two decades of experience in the Education, Library & Media space. She has been serving as the Assistant Head of ​the Lower School of Friends Seminary in NYC for over 4 years. She’s also been a Board Trustee of the All Souls School for over 3 years.

Kelly holds a B.S. in Information Technology and Informatics, and a B.A. in English and Literature from Rutgers University. She also holds a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from Rutgers University. ​Currently, she is completing an EdD in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Pennsylvania.
