We are pleased to announce that Kathleen Rivera has been appointed Chief Development Officer at Brooklyn Community Housing and Services (BCHS). As part of the executive team she will work closely with the Executive Director and the Board. Furthermore, she will oversee BCHS’ development and communication functions. Her main responsibilities will be focused on building capacity, increasing revenue, and expanding the reach and influence of BCHS through interactions with public, private, and philanthropic leaders.
Brooklyn Community Housing and Services, Inc. (BCHS) is committed to ending homelessness in Brooklyn and empowering all the residents of Fort Greene and the surrounding neighborhoods. They provide safe, clean supportive housing each year for more than 1,000 women, children and men who had been homeless, and help them learn how to live productively and independently, with dignity, and with hope.
