We are pleased to announce that Gwendolyn Pointer has been appointed Executive Vice President of the GLAAD Media Institute for GLAAD, Inc. She will be part of the leadership team and will work directly with the CEO. Pointer will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at the institute, will oversee budget, be responsible for facilitating partnerships and is responsible for the alignment of the Institute’s strategic initiatives and facilitating the preparation of short- and long-term plans in support of the Institute’s mission, vision and goals.
The GLAAD Media Institute is a consultative, training and research focused division of GLAAD Inc., working to engage, educate and train business leaders, media professionals and the next generation of activists to accelerate the acceptance of LGBTQ people and other marginalized communities through the broad media spectrum.
