We’re pleased to announce that Gemma Rogers has been appointed Chief of Staff at Brooklyn Defender Services (BDS). She will work closely with the Executive Director as a trusted adviser, streamlining the decision-making process and making sure that the strategic priorities of BDS are always advancing.
Brooklyn Defender Services (BDS) provides high quality legal representation and support services to people who cannot afford to retain an attorney. Since opening their doors in 1996 with 38 employees, the organization has represented close to half a million people in legal matters across Kings County and now has a team of 430.
