We are pleased to announce that Danny Cohn has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of The Birmingham Jewish Federation (BJF). As the CEO he will be recognized as the leader and spokesperson for the Federation. Cohn will be responsible for overseeing all federation operations, including governance, hiring and supervision of personnel, fundraising, programming, relationships with Birmingham’s diverse Jewish institutions, relationships with the broader community and its civic leadership, and partnerships in Israel and elsewhere globally.
The Birmingham Jewish Federation (BJF) is the Jewish Community’s central fundraising, community relations and community development agency. The BJF is dedicated to enriching Jewish life, supporting Israel, helping all people in need, and building a better Birmingham.
