Pleased to announce that Alicia Guevara has been appointed Executive Director of Part of the Solution (POTS). Guevara will report directly to the board and will oversee & ensure that the mission of POTS is embedded throughout all its endeavors. She will be responsible for developing annual strategic plans, partnership development & fundraising, and for building out new programs that serve the Bronx community and increase their support of individuals and families seeking assistance.
Helping low-income families and individuals since 1982, Part of the Solution (POTS) has grown to become a $3.7M leading provider of emergency food, social services and legal representation in the Bronx. POTS’ unique “one-stop shop” model of interrelated programming has been designed to carry out its vision of helping low-income individuals and families move from crisis to stability and ultimately self-sufficiency.
