Alan Sherman – appointed Executive Director of Temple Isaiah (MA)

We are pleased to announce that Alan Sherman has been appointed Executive Director of  Temple Isaiah in Lexington (MA). He comes to Temple Isaiah with extensive experience in marketing and fundraising in the jewish nonprofit space. Most recently, Alan served for more than five years as Vice President of Marketing and Advancement at Hebrew College, where he led marketing, communications, and fundraising initiatives for more than 25 academic programs serving 2,500 students(1).

About Temple Isaiah: Temple Isaiah is an inclusive community, with congregants from a wide range of backgrounds, from observant to Reform to secular. Temple Isaiah welcomes Jews by choice and interfaith families, who participate actively in Temple life. The congregation includes GLBT congregants who joined Temple Isaiah to pursue their Jewish journeys in a supportive and accepting community. They strive to be an accessible congregation, welcoming those with physical and learning disabilities as well as mental health challenges. Temple Isaiah is located in historic Lexington, Massachusetts, but draws congregants, from many neighboring communities.
